CHAPEL HILL - There was plenty of action in Carolina athletics to catch up on last week, so check out this week's GoHeels Weekly Primer to make sure you haven't missed anything.

 

MEN'S BASKETBALL:  Because of fall semester final exams, the Tar Heels played only one game this week, a 78-55 win over East Tennessee State on Saturday night ... Watch highlights from GoHeels TV ... Here's Adam Lucas' take on the win ... Carolina will take part in the 2013 Hall of Fame Tip Off Tournament next season ... Here's Lucas' Friday column on the evolving UNC defense ... GoHeels TV caught up with Brice Johnson for a feature earlier in the week ... The coaching staff announced details for its annual youth clinic on Dec. 31 ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will complete final exams this week, then host former Tar Heel guard Jeff Lebo's East Carolina team next Saturday (Dec. 15) ... Bid through Tuesday for front row seats to the game.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:  Waltiea Rolle led Carolina to a 64-44 win over Radford on Wednesday ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will host North Carolina Central on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Carmichael.

FOOTBALL:  Jonathan Cooper was named a first-team All-America by Walter Camp All-America and Fox Sports ... Nine Tar Heels were named to the coaches All-ACC team.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE:  Four former UNC players and current UNC assistant coach Katrina Dowd made the U.S. Women's National Training Team.

MEN'S SOCCER:  Four Tar Heels earned All-America honors ... Goalkeeper Scott Goodwin led the Academic All-America Team for 2012 by grabbing Academic All-America of the Year honors.

WOMEN'S SOCCER:  On Thursday, the campus and athletic department celebrated the 2012 NCAA champion Tar Heels team ... Watch the championship celebration here ... GoHeels TV had a terrific behind-the-scenes video look at the national championship squad.
