The North Carolina wrestling team will send 23 wrestlers to the Nittany Lion Open on Sunday, Dec. 2 in the last event before the exam break.
The Tar Heels will head to State College, Pa. for the third tournament of the year for Carolina after successful showings at the Hokie Open and the Wolfpack Open in November.
Leading the way will be four ranked wrestlers in No. 14 Nathan Kraisser (125), No. 17 Evan Henderson (141), No. 19 Joey Ward (133) and Alex Utley (184).
Joining the four ranked wrestlers will be 19 other Tar Heels who will be battling over 500 wrestlers at one of the premier tournaments of the year.

After the trip to State College, Pa., the Tar Heels will break for exams before returning to action at the Midlands Championships on Dec. 29 in Evanston, Ill.
