CHAPEL HILL - Carolina fans can help provide toys to over 5,000 Orange County, N.C., children who would go without gifts this holiday season if not for the help of the Orange County Toys for Tots campaign.
At the East Tennessee State game on Saturday December 8, Carolina Basketball and Orange County Toys for Tots are teaming up to try to collect all of those toys on one night at the Dean Smith Center. Collection bins will be outside every Smith Center entrance and all Tar Heel fans are encouraged to bring one toy for a youngster in need in Orange County.
Bins also will be posted at the park and ride lots at the Friday Center, and Chapel Hill Transit will provide a bus to transport the toys.
Bring a toy to make a child's day, and come cheer on the Tar Heels against East Tennessee State on Dec. 8th at 7:30 p.m.
