The University of North Carolina men's and women's swimming and diving teams are ranked ninth and 11th, respectively, this week in the Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com polls of the nation's Top 25 teams. The poll was released Tuesday morning on CollegeSwimming.com.
The methodology of the poll includes dual meet performance ratings and a panel of voters.

The North Carolina men so far are 3-0 with wins over South Carolina, Texas A&M and Virginia Tech. The North Carolina women are 2-1 with wins over South Carolina and Virginia Tech and a loss to Texas A&M. The Tar Heel women also finished second in the prestigious SMU Classic, a meet that included six CollegeSwimming.com Top 25 teams.
