North Carolina will host its final non-conference match of the regular season Tuesday when in-state foe Campbell visits Fetzer Field at 7 p.m.
The Tar Heels are coming off just their second defeat of the season after a 1-0 overtime setback at No. 1 Maryland on Friday. Carolina battled the Terps through a rain-soaked contest before Maryland found the game winner in the 98th minute.
Campbell enters with a 10-4-1 record on the year and have won three straight matches entering Tuesday's contest. The Fighting Camels have squared off against a pair of ACC opponents in 2012 and are 2-0 with a 2-0 win at NC State and a 3-0 at home versus Virginia Tech.
Despite surrendering a goal for the first time in five matches, the Tar Heels continue to lead the country in goals against average. Carolina has surrendered just four goals on the year and boasts a 0.28 goals against average in 2012.
Carolina owns a 15-5-1 advantage over Campbell in the all-time series and a 9-1-0 mark at Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels claimed the last matchup in 2009 with a 2-0 win.
The match will be presented live on ESPN3.
