PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. --- Caroline Price had her run at the 2012 ITA/Riviera All-American Championships come to an end Friday, as the Duluth, Ga., sophomore fell to Stanford's Krista Hardebeck, 6-4, 6-2, in the round of 16. Price won four matches in the event to advance out of qualifying to make the final 16.

In the main draw consolation bracket, freshman Whitney Kay defeated Baylor's Ema Burgic in three sets, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, before falling to UNLV's Aleksandra Josifoska, 7-6 (5), 7-5. Senior Lauren McHale lost in the first round of consolation play to Natalie Beazant of Rice, 6-4, 6-2.

Next up for Carolina is the ITA Carolina Regional Championships, Oct. 18-22, in Winston-Salem, N.C. McHale is the defending singles champion in the event, while fellow senior Zoe De Bruycker took the singles crown in 2010.
