General:  Tri-captain of the Tar Heels with Greg McBride and Campbell Wood...named a preseason third-team All-America by Face-Off Yearbook...named by the ACC coaches as the preseason choice as the All-ACC long-stick defensive midfielder...three-time letterman...selected in the second round of the 2014 MLL Collegiate Draft, taken 12th overall by the Florida Launch...one of the team's top returning short-stick defensive midfielders...honorable mention All-America in 2012 & 2013...involved in the Carolina Outreach Program.

2013 (Junior):  Played in all 17 games as a junior...a USILA honorable mention All-America selection for the second straight year...was the team's sixth-leading scorer with 14 points...was third-highest goal producer in the midfield with 11...that total was the largest in a single season by a player utilized solely at the short-stick defensive midfield position...the last time Carolina had a midfielder who scored as many goals without starting a game was 2000 when Mac Hammer scored 12 times...led in the team in shooting percentage at .611, scoring 11 goals on 18 shots...was tops on the team in shot on goal percentage at .889...finished the year with 22 ground balls and nine caused turnovers...scored a career high three goals versus Air Force...had a single goal in eight other games...scooped up a career high four ground balls against Massachusetts...earned merit as a Tar Heel Leader of Distinction in the Carolina Leadership Academy.

2012 (Sophomore):  Honorable mention All-America selection...named to 2012 All-ACC Academic Men's Lacrosse Team...recipient of the team's Needham Unsung Hero Award...named to ACC Academic Honor Roll for the second straight year...played in all 17 games for Carolina and started the last nine games of the season in the first midfield unit...had seven goals and six assists for 13 points...scored a pair of goals in games against Detroit and Duke...recorded a pair of assists versus Denver...had a goal and an assist in both games against Virginia (regular season and ACC Tournament)...had a season-high three ground balls in a game four times (Penn State, Maryland, Hofstra and Michigan).

2011 (Freshman):  Saw action in all 16 games, starting against UMBC and Dartmouth...scored 10 goals and had three assists for 13 points...also scooped up nine grounds...scored at least one goal in five straight games in the months of April and May...scored two goals each in wins over Presbyterian and Notre Dame...had a goal and an assist in games versus UMBC and Maryland in the ACC Tournament...also scored goals versus Navy, Maryland in the regular season, Virginia and Lehigh...had a season-high three ground balls against Dartmouth...named to 2010-11 ACC Academic Honor Roll...a Rising Star in the Carolina Leadership Academy.

Prep:  Played midfielder at Malvern Preparatory School...coached there by John McEvoy...All-League selection his sophomore through senior years...team's leading point producer as a junior...team captain as a senior...led lacrosse team to four Inter-Ac championships...lacrosse team made state finals as a sophomore and semifinals as a freshman...competed for Team Philadelphia in Under Armour Underclass Tournament in 2009...member of National Honor Society...a first honors student...in the community service area he worked with both Evanfest and the Headstrong Foundation.

Personal:  Ryan Thomas Creighton is the son of Charles and Margaret Creighton...was born in October 1991 in Bryn Mawr, Pa. ...has two older brothers and a younger sister...both of his brothers played college lacrosse - Mike at Notre Dame and Chris at Villanova...his younger sister Meghan played basketball at Drexel...business administration major.

The best thing about being a Tar Heel lacrosse player is being a part of building something special.

My favorite thing about playing for Coach Breschi is the family atmosphere.

Since last year the aspect of my game I've worked on the most is my overall diet.

My best friends on a college lacrosse team other than Carolina are Jack Moran (St. Joseph's), JK Poirier (Bryant), John Malick (Villanova) and Joe Fabrizio (Villanova).

My greatest strength as a lacrosse player is my physique/body type.
