VENICE, FLA. - Three University of North Carolina golfers, Casey Grice, Catherine O'Donnell and Allie White, completed third round play at the Stage II LPGA Qualifying Tournament which is being played at the Panther and Bobcat courses at Plantation Golf and Country Club. The final round will be played Friday.
O'Donnell, a four-time All-ACC performer at Carolina (2009-2012), is tied for 24th place at 1-under-par 215 after firing a 1-under-par 71 on the Bobcat course. Allie White, a three-time National Golf Coaches Association All-America Scholar (2009, 2011, 2012), is tied for 71st at 4-over 220. White shot a 1-under 71 on the Panther Course. Casey Grice, a two-time All-ACC performer (2012-2013), is tied for 85th place with a 5-over 221 total. Grice fired a 4-over 76 on the Bobcat course.
The Bobcat Course at Plantation Golf and Country Club features a par 72, 6,490-yard layout while the Panther Course features a par 72, 6,226-yard layout. The fourth and final round will be played Friday. O'Donnell and Grice will both be playing the Bobcat Course. Grice will tee off the #10 tee at 8 a.m. while O'Donnell will start on #1 at 11:55 p.m. White will play the Panther Course starting at 12:35 p.m. off the #1 tee.
The top 80 players including tied advance on to the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament Dec. 4-8 at LPGA International, Jones and Hills courses, in Daytona Beach, Fla.
