Six Earn All-ACC Academic For 2012 XC

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the 2012 cross country All-ACC Academic teams Wednesday morning with six Tar Heels making the list. 

Junior Malia Cali, junior Lianne Farber, sophomore Annie LeHardy, senior Ashley Miess, sophomore Karley Rempel and junior Isaac Presson all earned All-ACC Academic honors for the 2012 cross country season. 

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his or her academic career.

The award comes the same week as Farber and the women's cross country team each earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
