CHAPEL HILL - With another busy week of Carolina athletics in the books, be sure you didn't miss any of the action with this week's GoHeels Weekly Primer.

 

BASEBALL:  Individual-game tickets went on sale on Saturday ... Colin Moran was named a preseason All-America ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will open the 2013 season on Friday Feb. 15 against Seton Hall.

MEN'S BASKETBALL:  After losing a tough one at NC State last Saturday, the Tar Heels bounced back quickly with an impressive road win at Boston College on Tuesday ... Here's columnist Adam Lucas on the injury to P.J. Hairston  ... Former Tar Heel All-America Mike O'Koren will be an ACC Legend at the 2013 ACC Tournament ... On Friday, Lucas wrote about James Michael McAdoo and his subtle contributions to the Tar Heels this season ... GoHeels TV put together this video feature, "This Week In Carolina Basketball" ... Carolina and Kentucky will resume their annual series next season after a one-year hiatus ... On Saturday afternoon, UNC beat Virginia Tech in overtime ... WOMEN'S BASKETBALL:  Carolina beat No. 20 Florida State on Thursday night for head coach Sylvia Hatchell's 899th career victory ... As GoHeels' Megan Walsh, the Tar Heels didn't overlook the 'Noles with Sunday's Duke game looming ... On Sunday, No. 5 Duke beat the 11th-ranked Tar Heels, 84-63 ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will play at Boston College on Thursday and at Georgia Tech on Sunday.

FENCING:  Head coach Ron Miller looked back at his team's meets at Temple and NYU ... Over the weekend, the fencers took part in the Northwestern Duals in Evanston, Ill.  UP NEXT:  The Duke Duals next weekend in Durham, N.C.

FOOTBALL:  Signing Day is Wednesday, and GoHeels.com is your top source for the latest on the newest Tar Heel football players.

GYMNASTICS:  The Tar Heels remained unbeaten at home by beating Maryland in a rematch of a loss in College Park last weekend ... UP NEXT: Carolina visits George Washington on Monday Feb. 11.

MEN'S LACROSSE:  The Tar Heels will open the 2013 season at No. 4 and No. 7, respectively, in two major national polls ... UP NEXT:  The regular season opener against Air Force is Friday night at Fetzer Field.

WOMEN'S LACROSSE:  Former Tar Heels Amber Falcone, Kristen Carr and Jenn Russell all made the 18-player U.S. National Team, as did assistant coach Katrina Dowd ... The 2013 Carolina team grabbed top-five rankings in two national polls ... The UNC team yearbook for 2013 is now available on GoHeels.com ... UP NEXT:  The 2013 regular-season opener is Saturday at noon at Fetzer Field against top-ranked Florida.

SOFTBALL: Carolina grabbed the top spot in the 2013 preseason ACC coaches poll  ... UNC was ranked No. 21 in the preseason ESPN/ASA poll ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will open the 2013 regular season this weekend starting Friday in the Tiger Classic Challenge in Baton Rouge, La.

SWIMMING & DIVING: The Tar Heels made the short trip to NC State on Saturday and beat the Wolfpack ... UP NEXT: The Women's ACC Championships start Feb. 20 in Greensboro, and the men's event will begin on Feb. 27 (also in Greensboro).

MEN'S TENNIS: Carolina hosted Louisville on Saturday evening and lost, 4-2 ... UP NEXT: The Tar Heels will host Navy and James Madison on Saturday.

WOMEN'S TENNIS: Carolina hosted Michigan on Sunday and beat the 16th-ranked Wolverines, 5-2 ... UP NEXT: ITA National Team Indoors in Charlottesville, Va., start on Friday.

TRACK & FIELD: Former Carolina great Shalane Flanagan won the USA XC Championship on Saturday ... The Tar Heels took part in the Armory Collegiate Invitational in New York City over the weekend ... On Friday, the highlight of the day was in the women's pole vault ... On Saturday, the Tar Heels grabbed six first-place or top collegiate finishes across three separate meets ... UP NEXT: A pair of meets, the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash., and the Nebraska Invitational in Lincoln, Neb.

WRESTLING:  The Tar Heels hosted NC State on Friday and dominated the Wolfpack 30-6 ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will host VMI on Friday evening in Carmichael Arena.
