BASEBALL:  Ticket packages for the 2013 season are now available.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: On Saturday, the Tar Heels played their only game of the week and beat Maryland on Saturday afternoon ... Here's Adam Lucas' take on the victory ... Watch highlights ... Check out this terrific photo album from the win ... Earlier in the week, Lucas profiled the improved sophomore forward Desmond Hubert ... Check out this photo essay from the late Hugh Morton on the opening of the Smith Center 27 years ago this weekend ... With snow in Chapel Hill during the week, Lucas looked back at the 2000 "snow game" against Maryland and how it helped usher in the student risers in the Smith Center ... GoHeels TV posted this awesome, behind-the-scenes video of last week's win at Florida State ... Lucas looked back at the FSU win early in the week with his column, "Help a Teammate" ... Rick Brewer wrote about a well-deserved honor for former coach Bill Guthridge ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will host Georgia Tech on Wednesday, then play at NC State on Saturday.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: The Tar Heels continued their best start in five seasons with a win over Virginia on Thursday night, the team's 11th in a row ... The squad did not play over the weekend ... UP NEXT:  A road trip to Maryland for a game on Thursday night in College Park.

FOOTBALL:  The 2013 Spring Game will be held on April 13.

GYMNASTICS:  Carolina hosted its first home meet of the season on Sunday afternoon when George Washington and William & Mary visited Carmichael Arena ... The Tar Heels took first place in the meet ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will visit Maryland on Saturday.

MEN'S SOCCER: Sophomore Mikey Lopez was the 14th overall selection in the MLS SuperDraft on Thursday.

SWIMMING & DIVING:  Virginia swept the Carolina men's and women's teams on Saturday in a meeting of nationally-ranked ACC teams ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will host Duke on Saturday at noon in the Koury Natatorium.

MEN'S TENNIS:  GoHeels.com previewed the 2013 season with a Q&A with head coach Sam Paul ... The team started the 2013 spring campaign with two home wins on Saturday, first beating Wofford in the season opener, then beating Gardner-Webb later on Saturday ... UP NEXT:  The Tar Heels will take part in the ITA Kickoff in Champaign, Ill., next weekend.

WOMEN'S TENNIS:  The Tar Heels traveled to Las Vegas for their final individual tournament of the winter ... On Friday, three UNC doubles pairs and two singles players remained alive in main draw play after day one of the Freeman Memorial Championships at UNLV's Fertitta Tennis Complex ... On Saturday, Gina Suarez-Malaguti advanced to the finals ... Sunday, Suarez-Malaquti finished in second place and the doubles duo of Ashley Dai and Whitney Kay also took second ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will host UNC Greensboro and Elon at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center on Wednesday.

TRACK & FIELD:  The team opened its 2013 indoor season by hosting the Dick Taylor Invitational over the weekend ... On Friday, Carolina won five events before finishing day two on Saturday with 12 wins or top-collegiate performances ... UP NEXT: Carolina will bus to Blacksburg for the Hokie Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

WRESTLING:  Carolina hosted a pair of ACC dual meets over the weekend ... On Friday, the Tar Heels lost to Virginia, 24-9 ... On Saturday afternoon, Virginia Tech downed UNC 32-9 ... UP NEXT:  Carolina will hit the road for matches at Navy on Friday night and and at Maryland on Saturday.
