Received a medical red-shirt for the 2000-01 season and has four seasons of eligibility remaining • Had back surgery in August 2000 and was unable to resume practicing at full speed until well into the regular season • Played for Great Britain in the World University Games in China this past summer.

Led Holy Name Central Catholic High School to the Massachusetts state finals in 1999 • Played for Head Coach J.P. Ricciardi at Holy Name Central • Named to the McDonald’s High School All-America Team • Also played in the Capital Classic and the Nike Hoop Summit games • Massachusetts state player of the year as a senior, as named by the Hall of Fame and Red Auerbach • As a senior, led Holy Name to a 22-4 record and the district finals • Averaged 15 points, 12 rebounds and five blocked shots per game as a senior • Led Holy Name to the Central Mass.
