2014 - Senior Season
Missed the San Diego State game due to injury • Saw limited time against Liberty in the season opener and broke up a pass.

2013 - Junior Season
Appeared in all 13 games and started 10 at bandit, finishing the season with 49 tackles, 13.0 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, nine quarterback hurries, two forced fumbles, three pass breakups and an interception • Played well in the Belk Bowl win over Cincinnati with seven tackles, including two tackles for a loss and a sack • Also had two quarterback pressures • Had four tackles against Duke • Had three tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack in the win at Pitt • Had four solo stops, 3.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks in the win over Virginia • Despite being limited by injury, had three tackles and shared a tackle for loss in the win at NC State • Finished with three tackles, one quarterback hurry and his first career interception against Miami • Had four stops and shared a tackle for loss at Virginia Tech • Continued his strong start to the season at Georgia Tech, tallying eight tackles (seven solo), two forced fumbles, a pass breakup, 1.5 tackles for loss and his third sack of the year • Had a second dynamic performance in the win over Middle Tennessee, finishing with four tackles, a sack, a QB hurry and a pass breakup • Was all over the field in his first career start at No. 6 South Carolina, posting five tackles, including two tackles for losses and one sack • Also had two quarterback hurries.

Appeared in 10 games at bandit and on special teams • Tallied three tackles, one sack and a forced fumble • Assisted on a tackle against Idaho • Notched his first career sack against East Carolina, an 8-yard stop • Forced a fumble on special teams at Louisville that gave the Tar Heels a chance for an improbable late comeback • Also returned one kickoff for 15 yards against Georgia Tech.

2011 - Freshman Season
Played in seven games at linebacker and on special teams as a true freshman • Had four tackles on the season with three of those coming in a loss at Georgia Tech • Also assisted on a tackle against Wake Forest.
