Tar Heel Pair Named All-ACC Academic

Sophomores Frank Abbondanza and Alex Utley were named to the 2013 All-ACC Academic Wrestling Team on Wednesday. The honor marks the second straight for the pair of Tar Heels.
Kraisser Named ACC Freshman Of The Year

North Carolina 125-pounder Nathan Kraisser was named the ACC Freshman of the Year on Friday. Kraisser is the first Tar Heel to win the award since its inception in 2005.
Henderson Finishes In Sixth Place

Sophomore Evan Henderson finished sixth place in the country at 141 pounds as his NCAA Championships experience came to an end Saturday.

Sophomore Evan Henderson became the 23rd All-America in North Carolina wrestling history on Friday as he claimed a pair of wins to become UNC's first All-America since 2005.
