Michael Russell (5) catches a Forrest Brandt (10) pop up to short for the second out of the first.
Korey Dunbar (43) sets up behind the plate in the third.
Cody Stubbs (25) fields a Sam Foy (2) grounder to first and tosses to Thornton (31) at first for the second out of the third.
After Korey Dunbar (43) and Chaz Frank (2) both walk to lead off the third, Landon Lassiter's (12) sacrifice bunt moves them over to second and third.

...to score Dunbar (43) for a 1-0 lead as Frank (2) (pictured) stops at third.

Trent Thornton (31) throws in the sixth. Thornton (2-0) picked up the win by giving up no earned runs on three hits while striking out five and walking just one in 5.2 innings.
